lamborghini - A road car capable of speeds one would normally

Picture for A road car capable of speeds one would normally clicks over the illustration, to the video to regard lamborghini the murcielago lp640 is a pretty incredible piece of machinery. A road car capable of speeds one would normally associate with an open-wheel racer will always be impressive, especially when you consider it's laden with government-mandated safety equipment, plus niceties like a stereo and air conditioning. Only a fool would explore the car's outer performance limits on public roadways, however. That's best saved for a closed course, and if you can afford an LP640, you should be able to buy yourself some track time to see what it can really do. The driver (and owner?) of the car in the video above was apparently too foolish to do that, and embarked on a quest to set the "world speed record" for an LP640 on Arizona public highways. Sure, the sound the car makes as it flies past static camera points at some 200 mph is nothing short of incredible, but the act itself is disturbing, because no matter how late at night this film was taken, there are other drivers out, and at 200 miles per hour, the margin for error is exactly zero. Make a mistake, and people are going to die. Picture for It still has the longitudinal V12 with the transmission the lambo replication for a high-res gallery For fans of the legendary Countach, the current Murcielago is its true successor and perhaps the last of clicks „the real “ lamborghini s. It still has the longitudinal V12 with the transmission sitting in front of the engine between the seats and the obligatory scissor doors. However, that $300,000 price tag puts it well out of range for mere mortals. For the rest of us, Minnesota-based Vigness Motorsports has cobbled up this replica currently on offer on eBay. On the outside, the creators have done a pretty masterful job of replicating the original, with none of the odd proportions you so often find on these types of machines. It even features the pop up air intakes on top of the rear fenders to feed air to the engine. It's only when you look at the interior and under the engine cover, that you see the limitations of doing such a vehicle on a limited budget. The interior almost makes you long for the cheap plastic of a Jeep Compass. While twelve cylinders may be a bit much to ask for, something at least a little better than what appears to be an old throttle body-injected GM truck engine should probably be installed in the back end. If you have to go cheap, at least go with an older pre-emissions carbureted motor. On the upside, the front air suspension can lift the nose over speed bumps and steep driveways. Real top speed records are set by teams of professionals in controlled environments, and they're verified by precision instrumentation. That's why Edo Competition's mark of 214 mph in a light-changed lamborghini murcielago lp640 at the nardo of counting pulses , and the YouTube-ified "219 mph" trip computer banzai run on an Arizona freeway by a former dentist and his buddies does not. Edo's LP640 was fitted with a rear wing and sported a reprogrammed ECU, high-flow air filters, and high-performance catalytic converters. Engine output in that guise was bumped up to 663 horsepower. According to the GPS-based measuring system used on all the cars at the Nardo high-speed event, Edo's machine ( complete with Calvin sticker ) topped out at 214.8 mph. That is the official fastest top speed ever recorded by a lamborghini . They're going back next year, too, with 700 horses behind the driver and a goal of 224+ mph.

for the windshield wiper it was decided to adopt the proven single-arm pantograph design. This system increases the area swept by the wiper blade, thereby reducing blind spots in the visual field of the driver, and operates correctly at high speed without obstructing the driver's view when at rest. The wing mirrors can be folded electrically and are mounted on long support arms so that the driver can see beyond the rear wings, which are especially prominent when the air intakes are open. However, mirror stability is not compromised, even at high speeds. Murcielago Model Year 2006 There are new features on lamborghini the flagship, 12 advance the murcielago kupee and Roadster, for model year 2006. The most important of these is without doubt the possibility to equip the car with carbon-ceramic brakes. Carbon-ceramic discs offer clear benefits: braking efficiency remains constant at both low and high temperature, with no fading, even after hard use

The "mission" was to design a worthy successor to lamborghini the diablo : to be exciting, unmistakable, but also safe and ergonomic. lamborghini 's-writ to the designer was simple: "We'll make the engine, you design the body to fit". The result is a creation in steel and carbon fibre precisely tailored to suit the engine, that enhances the performance of its twelve cylinders. The central concepts of the design are purity of line, muscularity, aeronautical influence, efficiency and "made to measure".

in march 1966 (the Turin car was only a chassis). The car's name was taken from that of a famed fighting-bull trainer, Don Eduardo Miura . The Miura was a success got the unusual-looking lp500 for lamborghini : 111 were sold in 1967, and it propelled the company into the small world of exotic supercar manufacturers. At the same time, the , a four-seat car based on the Marzal concept car, was developed. The name Espada means sword in Spanish, and referred to the sword used by the matador in bullfighting. Using the 4-litre V12 in a conventional layout up front, this low slung touring car could attain a top speed of around 150 mph (240 km/h) in comfort. One interesting feature of the Espada was a glass taillight panel that used the same taillights as the contemporary Fiat 124 Coupe. The Espada received minor improvements in keeping with the time as the years went by, ending up with 3 different versions. 1971, lamborghini count oh
